Back in 2005, the Killers released their multi-platnium album as a 7" boxset. The boxset was limited to just 5000 copies worldwide and each box was numbered. As you can see, the box above that I own is #18/5000 and still sealed. The cool thing about this boxset was that the b-sides all featured a rare song, b-side from the UK or a remixed track. Quite a few tracks didn't see the light until the band released Sawdust, but still it is a cool item. The Killers seem to be pretty creative on their releases (an original Hot Fuss on Blue Vinyl can set you back $300+) and have tried to do stuff for the fans (e.g. Record Store Day Picture Disc).
